Owen Sound Santa Claus Parade – Saturday, November 16th, 2013 – Starts at 10am
The 2013 Kiwanis 68th Annual Owen Sound Santa Claus Parade theme celebrates “Christmas Past”. Join us and experience this universal holiday as it was celebrated in past time eras through costume, customs, music and decoration.
Line Up Early! Local musicians playing at various street corners! Carol Singing! Free Face Painting!
The Parade will proceed south along 2nd Ave. E. to 8th St. E. and then east to 3rd Ave. E. and then north on 3rd Ave. E. then to 9th St. and 3rd Ave. E. NOTE: SANTA WILL FINISH THE PARADE AND PROCEED TO THE CITY HALL FOYER WHERE HE AND HIS ELVES WILL GREET THE CHILDREN.
Food bank donations will be collected at the start of the parade by a designated floats. Please have donations ready to hand over to the clowns from the side of the street. PLEASE DO NOT RUN OUT INTO THE PARADE TO GIVE YOUR DONATIONS. IT IS UNSAFE.
After the Parade be sure to visit Santa at behind City Hall at the Farmer’s Market to get a picture, treat and tell him your Christmas Wishes!

The Georgetown Santa Claus Parade sponsored by the Lions Club of Georgetown will follow its traditional route — Hwy. 7 and Sinclair Ave., proceed along Guelph St. to Mill St. along Mill St. to Charles St. to Park St. to Georgetown Fairgrounds. Bands slated to take part include Georgetown Pipe Band, and Halton Hills Concert Band.

BWG Santa Claus Parade (Bradford West Gwillimbury) – Saturday November 16th, 2013 – Starts at 6:30pm
The parade will begin at the Bradford District High School, travel south on Holland Street West to Simcoe Road, then south on Simcoe Road to Edward Street, east on Edward Street and ending in the parking lot of the Bradford Community Centre.
Each year, the South Simcoe Paramedics along with several volunteers walk the route prior to the beginning of the parade collecting toys. This year we are hoping to double our efforts. Come help our local volunteers by bringing new unwrapped toys for children of all ages to the parade. Together we can all make a difference!
Parade watchers, your donations help bring the Santa Claus Parade to Bradford every year. Don’t forget to bring a toonie (or two) for the Annual Feed The Deer Collection. Watch along the parade route for the Elves walking some of Santa’s other Reindeers. Drop you cash donation or cheque into their collection bins to help us with the parade. Santa’s Elves will be collecting your letters to Santa Claus during the parade. Remember to put your return address on the envelope so that Santa can write you back.

Orillia Santa Claus Parade – Sunday November 24th, 2013 – Starts at 1:00 pm
With a hint of frost and the odd snow flake the Orillia Santa Claus Parade draws near. This year’s Parade date is November 24th , starting at 1:00 pm at the Orillia waterfront. The Orillia Parade is considered one of the largest parades north of Toronto. The parade takes almost 2hrs to pass and maintains a “small town” presentation rather than the “commercial” look with service and social clubs, schools, businesses and churches all presenting their Christmas theme. Those interested in entering a float must fill out a float application available from the Orillia District Chamber of Commerce, 705-326-4424 or go to orillia.com from details. There is no fee for entering a float or group in the parade. Float applications must be submitted by 5pm, Wednesday, November 20th, 2013. Floats and participants are judged on their presentations. Awards are done at Orillia City Council, City Hall, Monday November 25th at 7pm. Moonstone Santa Claus Parade – Sunday December 1, 2013 – Starts at 1pm
Along the parade route, the Moonstone Firefighters will be having a “Boot Drive.” Please consider a donation, as all proceeds will be given to the Moonstone Parks and Recreation Committee to enhance our own community. The parade starts and finishes on County Road 19 (the Moonstone Rd) and winds it way through the subdivision in Moonstone.
