CRTC Approves Power Increase for 95.1 Peak FM
(March 13, 2013 – Collingwood, Ontario) The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) just announced it has approved a broadcast license application for a power increase for CKCB FM in Collingwood. Operating under the name 95.1 The Peak FM, this power increase will provide improved coverage to better serve the Collingwood market and surrounding area.
According to Peak FM Operations Manager, Mike Patterson, “We had been receiving complaints about severe signal deficiencies from area residents and business owners. We heard our Collingwood and South Georgian Bay audience loud and clear, and presented our application to the CRTC.
