There are a couple rules for Easter egg hunting.
First rule: if you are at a hunt for kids, you’re too old.
Second rule: if you doing a private hunt, you are never too old, but you should NEVER collect more eggs than the kids.
I remember as a child, my Mom told us that the Easter Bunny knows that we don’t share so that year we had to prove that my brother, sister and I could share so the Easter Bunny would come the next year. Well, you would have thought we were negotiating world peace. At first, I was all for sharing, until I had the most eggs and had to give some up to Billy and Lindsay (big bro and little sis). After some chocolate fueld rage and tears, and a time out. We all shared and the same eggs.
But between you and me, I had some eggs in the front pocket of my little overalls. Long story short……I won the Easter egg hunt that year.
