What Kind of Winter?

Wednesday, September 10, 2008

Well, you'll find out tomorrow on the CHATS program when Jack Burnett, the Canadian expert from the Old Farmers Almanac joins me on the phone. I've been told it will be Dry and Mild. We'll see if Jack concurs with that.

Sue Underhill had taken over the Collingwood Terry Fox run and she's determined to get more participants out to this years event.

And, there is a big exercise being carried out in Simcoe County this weekend called..."Water Blast." Kathy Clark, manager of 911 and Emergency Planning with the county will give us some insight.

And a little bird told me on the Morning Flight this morning, that Collingwood's Drew Wright, our Canadian Idol, will sing the national anthem at the home opener on Friday at the Collingwood Blues Hockey Game. And they have a few more surprises is store as well. Don't miss it!
