You certainly have to feel for Drew Wright after his elimination from Canadian Idol last night. The collective sigh from a large sector of the audience was very audible and his fans were obviously very devastated. However, I'm sure Drew will draw strength from this very rewarding experience on the show and I trust will forge on to a successful career in music. It was an honour for me to be able to chat with him On-Air and I wish him all the best in his future endeavours. Drew...you did Collingwood proud!
I noticed on my bike ride down the 6th this morning, that cement trucks were running big time all through the night carrying cement to the overpass on the Fairgrounds road. I trust that is a good sign that much progress is being made on the by-pass and we'll be using it before too long.
By the way, Theatre Collingwood's last presentation of the season, "The Long Weekend", will be the topic on the CHATS program tomorrow at 9:05.
