It's Remembrance Day and on the CHATS program this morning, we will salute our Veterans, the war dead and Canadian Troops in Afghanistan with the presentation of two very special songs, one written locally. They are entitled... "LITTLE RED POPPY" and "HEROS HIGHWAY." I do hope you can join us.

The students from CCI who are travelling to Europe next spring to help commemorate the 65the anniversary of VE Day will be doing their walk-a-thon fundraiser on Thursday, November 12. The group will depart from CCI at 1:00 pm and walk throughout Collingwood, passing Cameron Street school, Mt. View school, the Legion, Connaught school, Admiral Collingwood school, and then returning to CCI at approximately 3:00 pm. Donations will be accepted along the route. Thank you, Rod Brown 888-2826.
