Another great Youth Talent Search at the Great Northern Exhibition on Friday night, sponsored by The Peak-FM and the Collingwood Kiwanis Club. Chair Felicity Kinner has forwarded the results below...

Hi  John ... our Jr winner was Abby Woodhouse from Clarksburg . She sang "Thank you for the music" an ABBA song.  Our Sr. Talent winner was Alia Plesa- Topham from Nottawa, singing and playing guitar .She sang "Broken Strings".   I would also like to mention we had a terrific turnout of Jr's including a couple of little girls (aged 6 and 4)  from Nottawa who sang a song accapella called Bessie the Heifer. They listen to the record on a record player (not many kids these days have ever seen one) at their grandma's .What a perfect song to sing at the fair. Thank you to the peak for your sponsorship ...couldn't do it without you.

Felicity

With the quick change in the weather, a lot of thought is being given to the next trip South to escape the cold. There was quite a turnout Sunday at the Travelworld Travel Show at Collingwood Centre. One lucky participant is about to getting a great big financial helping hand by attending. Check this out...

Brian Schriver from Collingwood was the lucky winner of a $500.00 travel gift voucher compliments of Travelworld  Collingwood and Wasaga Beach and Sunquest at their annual Travel show hosted on Sunday.
