The area golf courses are certainly getting a workout this week aren't they? I'm going to take a run at the Atoka course at Cranberry on Thursday. Looks like another peach of a day in the offing, not to mention the fact this weather is expected to continue now right through Tuesday. A little late coming this summer, but we'll take it.
You have to know that summer has ended as we know it, so I guess it's fitting that the 2010 edition of the Old Farm's Almanac has just arrived. I haven't had a chance to scan it yet, but let;s hope it has a better forecast for next summer than we received this past one.
