This morning's CHATS program with Environment Canada's Jeff Coulson, Blue Mountains Mayor Ellen Anderson and Steve Conn, Emergency Management Co-ordinator for Blue Mountains was an incredible eye opener! Most people aren't aware of the devastation for about a dozen apple growers in town. Some have been wiped out completely. Will insurance cover it? Not in some cases apparently so the rest of the community will be asked to step up to the plate and assist big-time during fund raisers expected. I'm counting on you to rally behind the cause.
