Two huge pits and a whole lot of CLAMS...etc! What a night it was at the first Clam bake held in Collingwood as part of the Elvis Festival. What a feast and what entertainment. The Lincolns had everyone wearing out their shoes (including yours truly). And the Elvis tribute artists, James Gibb and Pete Irwin were super. Thanks guys. So a great big thank you goes out to Len Walker of ROX Events, Sherwood Foods and all the workers and volunteers that made this event just super. I'm hoping it becomes an annual affair.
I'm liking this golfing situation here at the Peak! Here's another chance for you and a friend to join me and Dale West at the Collingwood Kinettes First Annual Tourney on Sunday, August 30th at the Duntroon Highlands Golf course. All you have to do is click comments on my blog, give me your name, phone number and where you live and you'll be entered into the draw for the opportunity. We'll have a hoot.
Time for a smile...
An exasperated mother, whose son was always getting into mischief,
finally asked him 'How do you expect to get into Heaven?'
The boy thought it over and said, 'Well, I'll run in and out and in
and out and keep slamming the door until St. Peter says, 'For Heaven's
sake, Dylan, come in or stay out!''
