Talk about close! Last night when I was at the Village at Blue MCing the Movies Under The Stars, I decided to come back to Nottawa via the townline and along the Nottawa Side Road West. I'm always leery about White Tails and my hunch was right. A little doe was feeding in the ditch on the right hand side and I came upon her from behind. When startled, she bolted along the shoulder and just as I figured, cut across the road in front of me! Thank God I was paying close attention as I was able to put the binders on and get stopped in time. A word of caution as there are a lot of White Tails in this area and they are particularly active in the early evening and morning hours.
