Expect a few days of cloud and potential rain, particularly Saturday, but after that they point to five days of Sunshine. I like the sound of that.
I received an e-mail from Diane McKay of the Creemore Tree Committee yesterday and there is a big event for the group this Saturday in Creemore. Check out the following..
This Saturday June 20th we celebrate the long awaited completion of Phase II of the Mill Street Revitalization Project. 14 overly mature Norway maples had to be removed at the beginning of this project so the CTC aggressively fund raised to replace them with 32 smaller ornamental trees. Five varieties were chosen for their up-right growth, tolerance to road salt and soil compaction, spring blossom and fall colour interest. There will be an all day street party with good food and lots of activities for all to enjoy. The ceremonies begin with the ribbon cutting at 11:00am.
I'll be talking to Diane on Chats friday morning about 9:30 on some more exciting things they have planned.
