Call it the beauty of working in small town radio! While I was doing my show this morning, I was pleasantly surprised to see a little cottontail rabbit come running right up to the studio window and stare in for about a minute. How cool is that? I wonder if he (or she) heard a boarding call? I didn't even have to get back to nature as they say, it just comes to us in this neck of the woods.
I'm looking forward to an event in particular this weekend. It's a meeting of the land stewards of the Bruce Trail in Owen Sound. As I'm the steward of a section just south of Glen Huron, it will be interesting to say the least, to learn all the aspects of stewardship, the Bruce Trail Conservancy devotes to this gem of recreation in Ontario.
