When I was perusing the OPP reports this morning, I couldn't help but notice one that was worded...Car / Raccoon Collision. Of course I had to smile thinking, hey is this a sign of spring? That they have come out of hibernation and Spring is in fact just around the corner. I won't hold my breath.
A busy week for this camper! Wednesday night, we're back as a reader at the Admiral Collingwood Dr. Seuss reading night. I've done it for quite a few years now and really enjoy the reaction of the kids. There is something to be said for the teaching profession.
And on Thursday night, I'm MCing the Rotary Club of Collingwood's Concert Series at the historic Gayety Theatre! First up, Tyler Yarema and his band, voted the number one Blues and Boogie-Woogie pianist in Toronto and can he make the ivory talk. If you get a chance, buy the whole series because it's a stellar lineup. You can get tickets from any Rotarian and at Stuart Ellis IDA Pharmacy.
Oh yah, one other thing. Rick Baldry was in from the Georgian Triangle Anglers Association and the derby is in the prepatory stage. The planned dates are from April 17th to May 3rd. More to come!
