Wow! Where did winter come from all of a sudden! I couldn't believe the temperature dropped 8 degrees this morning in just 15 minutes, As I write this at 11:30 Friday, I'm looking out on almost blizzard like conditions. What a crazy winter!

Helmets could be made mandatory for several winter sports in Quebec.The provincial government's sports minister says she's considering the move for 2009-2010 after a group of emergency medical specialists said it's needed to prevent head injuries.They say head injuries could be reduced by 60 per cent. Some of the sports being considered for the law would be skiing and snowboarding.
Actually, I give thumbs up to Quebec for taking the lead on this, given the number of mishaps that have been taking place lately. I don't know what you think, but if you'd like to comment, let me know what you think.
