Where the sunshine came from today after that bizarre weather forecast this morning, I'm not sure but I like it. I hope it holds on until I bike home. I just beat it this morning when I came to work. I still think this is the January thaw running a little bit late this year.
While I think of it, I just want to remind folks that the Collingwood Blood Donor Clinic going Wednesday from 2 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. at the legion. Please come out and give the gift of life. Bring a buddy as a new donor if you can. I need one to replace me after I was differed recently for a year because to took a trip to the Dominican. The potential for problems in a malaria country came into play unfortunately. This certainly slows me down in my quest to get to 100 donations.
And a little old timers humour for you...
Just before the funeral services, the undertaker came up to the very elderly widow and asked, 'How old was your husband?'
'98,' she replied. 'Two years older than me.'
'So you're 96,' the undertaker commented.
She responded, 'Hardly worth going home, is it?'
