What a Scramble!

Mother Nature can be a pain in the butt when you are trying to get numerous things completed before snow falls! All this rain and snow forecast this week doesn't help matters. On the weekend, I finally managed to get my compost heap sifted and ended up with 13 huge wheel barrow loads on nice black compost. Luckily, there was enough time yesterday to turn the second compost pile to make room for this years leaves. Another 10 to 15 minutes and I would have had one large section of my lawn complete, but NO, Mother Nature decided a down our would be in order before I could get it completed. Don't you just hate that. Well, maybe toward the end of the week, I can get that job finished.

So, how are your investments making out? Sometimes a little humour can easy the stress. Check this out!

What's the definition of optimism? An investment banker who irons five shirts on a Sunday evening.

A man went to his bank manager and said: "I'd like to start a small business. How do I go about it?" "Simple," said the bank manager. "Buy a big one and wait."

The credit crunch is getting bad, isn't it? I mean, I let my brother borrow a ten a couple of weeks back, it turns out I'm now Britain's fourth-biggest lender.

What is the difference between an investment banker and a pigeon? A pigeon can still make a deposit on a BMW.

What is the difference between an investment banker and a large pizza? The pizza can still feed a family of four.

What does a hedge fund manager with no fund to manage say? Would you like fries with that sir?

What is the capital of Iceland? About $3.50

I tried to get cash from the ATM today but it said "insufficient funds." I don't know if that meant the bank or me.
