For the last 2 weeks, I've re-discovered British Humour...and when I say "re"-discovered, I actually just mean "started watching again".
Case in point, Extras, and the Ricky Gervais show...both from the same brains/writing team. This is important Internet History here people!
The Ricky Gervais show podcasts are the most downloaded Podcasts in all Podcasting history, however short it may be. Still, 28 million downloads for one podcast isn't too shabby. Recently HBO comissioned 13 episodes of an animated series to be made and sync'd to those podcasts.
The result is an improv-animation show that is so off-the-wall and silly that it brings tears of laughter to my eyes.
