Do you remember the last time you felt Hungry?
Probably this morning when you woke up before making yourself some breakfast. Imagine waking up hungry and knowing there isn’t enough food to go around.
Thirteen percent of Canadians live in a state of food insecurity, which means they do not have reliable access to adequate amounts of safe, good-quality, nutritious food.
This time of year is especially hard on our food banks, as kids are heading back to school and needing supplies and lunches, and people are focused on getting back in routine after summer, it’s not top of mind to donate to our local food banks.
Over 335,000 Ontarian’s use food banks each month. So here at The PeakFM , we’re proud to help ‘Feed the Change’!
In partnership with Shoot Me Productions, and you, we are looking for schools/students/teachers to host a food drive and/or collect donations in support of Corus Feeds Kids and Food Banks throughout our communities.
In addition to helping your neighbours, you could win a FREE school dance, courtesy of Shoot Me Productions for the whole school!
All you need to do is fill out the form below letting us know you’ll be a hosting a food drive for your local food bank between September 25th and November 1st!
