I will admit it, I am a total couch potato, a tv junkie.  So this is the time of year in which I am reading the entertainment news a lot more than normal.  Because I want to find out which of my shows are coming back, and which ones got canned.  So far this year there have been a few disappointments, like The Finder getting cancelled.  That was one of my favourite new shows of the season but I guess there weren't a lot of other people who agreed with me.  There were some surprises, like Cougar Town getting renewed but moving to TBS, or Whitney getting renewed when it was so expected to be cancelled.  One of my favourite websites to check this stuff out is tvline.com.  It's the website I go to for spoilers (yes I love them) and what they call the Renewal Scorecard.  It's a very comprehensive list of what is getting newed and cancelled and there is a sort of scoring system.  It has different levels, for example, bubble shows as they call them (ones that have a good possibility of being cancelled) could say "it could go either way", or "a long shot", or "a safe bet".  This is, of course, an American website so if you're wondering about Canadian shows your best bet would be to go to tvguide.ca.  Most of the big stations have announced their fall schedules so I think this is the perfect time to link to this list, and you can find out the fate of your favourite shows!
