As each day goes by, we find out there’s more to the story about the expropriation of a building in Wasaga Beach.
The Town’s Economic Development Director, Andrew McNeill, says he had informal talks with Anthony and Mark Frisoli who own the property at 140 Main Street. McNeill says they wanted the town to pay $1.3 million for the land, when they paid $750,000 for the site originally.
McNeill says the Town believes that the Frisolis overpaid for the land in the first place, and says they will get fair market value in the expropriation.
