The OPP have concluded their investigation into a breach of privacy incident at Collingwood Collegiate Institute.
It was discovered last year that cameras were installed in some music classrooms without CCI and School Boards knowledge.
The OPP seized 8 video cameras, 6 of which were disguised as smoke detectors.
The investigation revealed that two of the undisguised cameras were disconnected and not utilized for several years.
The disguised cameras were recording to a hard drive which overwrote itself every three months.
Police executed a search warrant to download the video recordings from the hard drive which contained video between April 8th 2016 and June 2nd 2016.
Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
