Tom Petty, the lead singer of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and the performer behind classic songs such as “Free Fallin’,” has died, his longtime manager confirmed on Monday night. A statement said that Petty died at 8:40 p.m. PT, “surrounded by family, his bandmates and friends.” Petty was hospitalized on Sunday night after being discovered unconscious in full cardiac arrest. “Game of Thrones” is preparing to up the ante for its final season, announcing plans for feature-length episodes with a massive budget of $15 million per episode. To prevent the top-secret story details from the finale from leaking, HBO Programming President Casey Bloys revealed that the show was planning to film multiple endings for the finale. One of the stars of the show, however, isn’t exactly keen on the idea. “Do you think that’s true?” Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays Jaime Lannister on the HBO hit, wondered in an interview with Marie Claire. “It seems really stupid to me.
