The future of the Collingwood Elvis Festival is up in the air, and will be discussed today at a town council meeting.
The Corporate and Community Services Standing Committee will look at a staff report and consider recommending two options to full council.
The first option is that council approves to continue running the festival for a two-year term, with full understanding of the financial risks required. The other option is for the town to stop hosting the event and to look for a third-party festival promoter to run it.
