Herbie the Love Bug, Lightning McQueen from Cars, Kit from Knight Rider, General Lee from The Dukes of Hazzard. What do these famous cars have in common?
They all have names which are known by millions.
Have you ever named your car? Today is National name your car day, so there is no time like the present to commit to that hunk of metal that gets you from A to B.
I have had a few cars in lifetime and only one had a name.
Peppermint – the name was based on the colour of the car. She was bright, and I never had a problem picking her out of a parking lot. She was also named Triple G – Granny, Grocery, Getter.
Heads turned when I drove down the street. Not sure if it was because of the colour or if they were just shocked to see someone so young driving a car like Peppermint.
I loved that car and drover her into the ground, ended up selling her parts for scrap metal. Oh if that car could talk… and I’m thankful it couldn’t. 🙂
What names have you given your luxury ride?
