The Collingwood community is coming together to help two local people when they need it most.
A GoFundMe page has gone viral for Narda Hunt, who was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer and has been given two years to live. She has two young daughters and her family would like to raise money for a treatment in Germany to hopefully give Narda at least 10 years to raise her daughters. Her husband, Brian Hunt, is a filmmaker and will be documenting her fight against cancer to raise awareness. You can find the GoFundMe page here, or watch the video below.
A fundraising event is being held for Josh Noronha who was tragically paralyzed in a trampoline accident back in August. The event will take place at Crow Bar and Variety on October 4th from 8 to 11pm, and will feature music, a silent auction, and a 50/50 draw.
