A big thanks to Theatre Georgian Bay for inviting me to perform last night in their final performance of William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Nights Dream.
It was a thrill to make my debut as a Shakespearean actor, even though my part was very very small, with such an amazingly talented and energetic cast!
I played the part of “the Wall” and it was a thrill. I was nervous having been given some great lines to perform but when Director Cam Oates said he hoped I would also ad lib some stuff to and to have some fun with the other cast members I was very excited.
Ryan James and Cameron Donsberger proved to be not only excellent actors but also tremendous at doing improv! I couldn’t get them to break character no matter what I threw at them and yet I could barely keep a straight face.
Can’t wait for Theatre Georgian Bay’s next production Between the Sheets
