Charges have been laid in the case of a collision involving a 6-year-old from Springwater Township.
On Tuesday afternoon, the child was walking on the sidewalk by the Mac’s Convenience Store at Finlay Mill and Bayfield Street in Midhurst when he was hit by a vehicle.
He was transported to a Toronto hospital with life-threatening injuries, and the 16-year-old male driver of the vehicle has been charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle.
