This man may have been hoping for a part in the next ‘Fast and the Furious’ movie, but instead he was charged with stunt driving.
On Tuesday, the OPP stopped a Toyota RAV 4 that was going 151 km/h in a 100 km/h zone on Highway 400 in Georgian Bay Township.
The 39-year-old man from Toronto is facing multiple charges, including:
- Drive Motor Vehicle – Perform Stunt by 50 or more km/h contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
- Speeding – 151 km/h in a 100 km/h zone contrary to the Highway Traffic Act
- The vehicle was also impounded for seven days and his driver’s licence was seized for seven days.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in September in Penetanguishene.
