South Simcoe Police officers report that a fight at an Innisfil high school spiraled out of control, to the point where one teen shot another with a pellet gun.
On June 27th, police learned that a group of teens were preparing to fight each other. An adult brother of one of the teens arrived to try and keep the peace, but he soon became the target when a vehicle arrived and the front seat passenger shot the victim three times with a pellet gun.
The victim suffered minor injuries, and the 17-year-old boy from Innisfil who shot the pellet gun has been charged. He’s been charged with assault with a weapon and weapons dangerous to the public peace, and will appear in court in August.
