Venus Williams was reportedly involved in a collision that sent a 78-year-old man, Jerome Barson, to a hospital in Florida on June 9th where Barson reportedly died 14 days later. According to a police report obtained by TMZ, the tennis pro told police she was trying to make it through an intersection, but had to slow down and could not clear it due to a traffic backup. Barson’s wife, who was driving the other car, reportedly told police she was approaching the intersection westbound when Williams’ SUV darted into the intersection. Johnny Galecki’s vacation home in California burned down on Monday night as a result of a fire, a rep for the actor confirmed to ET Canada. “The Big Bang Theory” star’s ranch was burned to the ground in a 1,200-acre fire. On Thursday, Galecki took to Instagram to thank the Cal Fire firefighters for their work and to fans who have reached out to the actor with words of support.
A music coordinator at a Los Angeles radio station really thinks Annie Lennox has the “potential” to make it in the music industry after mistaking her as an emerging artist. The iconic singer, who rose to fame as one-half of The Eurythmics in the 1980s before branching out with a solo career, shared a letter sent to her by a radio station coordinator named Kylie. In her letter, Kylie encouraged Lennox to send in samples of her music for a chance to get her stuff played on a network of radio stations. Read the letter here.
