Two big movie premieres in London have been cancelled in light of the Manchester bombing. The star-filled debuts of “Wonder Woman” on May 31 and “The Mummy” on June 1 have been cancelled due to security concerns. Read more here.
Speaking of “Wonder Woman”, a U.S. movie chain is serving up a women-only screening of the female-empowering superhero flick. The cinema said: “Apologies, gentlemen, but we’re embracing our girl power and saying ‘No Guys Allowed’ for one special night at the Alamo Ritz […] And when we say ‘People Who Identify As Women Only,’ we mean it. Everyone working at this screening — venue staff, projectionist, and culinary team — will be female.” But some male moviegoers described the chain’s move as reverse sexism. Find the details here.
Orlando Bloom has revealed that his son thinks he’s a pirate after seeing “Pirates of the Caribbean”. His son Flynn loved the movie and questioned his dad’s pirate abilities after seeing it. “He was like, ‘So, wait a second: How long can you hold your breath underwater for? Did you really do that?’ Like, ‘Yeah, bro! Forever! I could walk from one side of the ocean to the other.’ Because he still believes that!” Bloom said in a recent interview.
Conan O’Brien stopped by “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” on Tuesday night and things got very honest, very quickly. When asked which guest he had on his show that he thought was the worst, O’Brien was honest. “I don’t wanna plead the fifth on anything. Al Roker. The guy…it’s too fake.
