A vigil has been organized outside of Barrie City Hall on Sunday, May 28th to pay tribute to the victims of the Manchester attack.
The event will run from 2:30 to 3:30pm and a condolence book or banner will be set up for people to sign, which will be sent to Manchester as a show of support for the city that is still mourning the attack at an Ariana Grande concert that left 22 people dead.
Barrie vigil participants are encouraged to bring a candle, and there will be prayers and guest speakers. Simcoe.com has more details from the vigil’s organizer, Sharon Winchester.
