The Collingwood and Huronia West OPP are investigating separate, but similar, attempted assaults in Collingwood and Wasaga Beach.
The first incident took place in Wasaga Beach the morning of April 29th, when a woman was walking on the beach near 24th Street North. She was approached by a man, but resisted and was able to get away before being assaulted.
The man is described as in his early 20s, with olive skin tones, clean-shaven, thin build, about five-foot-five and 160 lbs, wearing baggy grey track pants and multiple hoodie style sweaters.
The second incident occurred in Collingwood the morning of May 3rd, when a woman was running on a trail off Spruce Street when she was approached by a man. She ran off to a safe location and contacted police.
The man is described as in his early 20s, about five-foot-five and 160 lbs, with tanned skin, wearing jeans and a leather jacket with a hoodie style sweater underneath and mirrored sunglasses.
