The Town of Collingwood has been awarded a new Bicycle Friendly Status. Mayor Sandra Cooper received the bronze award at a dinner in Toronto Tuesday.
Collingwood is now one of only 27 bronze bike communities in Ontario.
Southern Georgian Bay is one of the top cycling destinations in Ontario for cycling.
Collingwood now connects other Bicycle Friendly Communities in the region including the Town of Wasaga Beach and the Town of The Blue Mountains.
