If you’re like me and you’d take a long hot bath any time over a long sweaty run…GREAT NEWS!
My new favourite doctors are learning all about the amazing connections between taking a hot bath and overall health.
Such as…helping to prevent type 2 diabetes. Apparently they did a test where 14 people each took an hour long bath at a temperature of 104, and those same people went out for an hour long bike ride.
The idea was to measure how many calories were burned in each session – and while cycling did burn more calories they found that the bath burned as many carolories as a half hour walk.
