Two people have been arrested by the RCMP after an investigation into the trafficking of steroids. The RCMP says search warrants were executed last week at a home in Sauble Beach and a business in Owen Sound. They say officers seized “multi kilos” of steroids and other substances, and believe the man and woman from Sauble Beach imported the substances and then distributed them through the business in Owen Sound.
The 35-year-old man faces charges that include importing and trafficking of a controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of a prohibited firearm. The 30-year-old woman is charged with conspiracy to commit an indictable offence, possession of methamphetamine, weapons counts and breach of recognizance.
