First, a congratulations goes out to Amber Tamblyn and David Cross, who announced their daughter’s arrival with a cute video on Instagram yesterday. Amber hilariously captioned the post: “David and I are proud to announce the birth of our daughter, Dauphinoise Petunia Brittany Scheherazade Von Funkinstein Mustard Witch RBG Cross Tamblyn-Bey jr. #TheFutureIsFemale.”
Canadian artist Drake won two Grammys for his 2016 hit “Hotline Bling,” in the categories of Best Rap/Sung Performance and Best Rap Song, but he’s making statements that imply he doesn’t want the awards. He’s pointing out that his song is not a rap song: “I am referred to as a black artist, like last night at [the Grammys], I’m a black artist… I’m apparently a rapper, even though ‘Hotline Bling’ is not a rap song,” the rapper said during an interview on Apple Music OVO Sound radio, EW reports. He said he’s always put in a rap category, but can’t seem to figure out if it’s because he raps or if it’s because he’s black.
Jimmy Kimmel has been starring on late-night television for 14 years with his show, “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” While talking with Variety magazine he revealed his contract with ABC expires in the fall of 2019 and said he has thought about retiring. “I know I will do the show for another three years. It’s possible that will be it.” With 70 hours a week at the show’s studio and a pregnant wife there is no doubt Kimmel has a packed schedule. “My wife’s pregnant. At a certain point, I’d like to have a little more free time. I have very little time as it is,” he told the magazine. “I will miss it when I go. Television is changing quickly. I get a lot of offers to do a lot of different things.”
