In the Southern Georgian Bay area, we’re lucky to have a few choices when it comes to ski hills. Today, for Family Day, we’re especially lucky that Mother Nature has blessed us with blue skies and warm temperatures! So, I thought I’d give you a glance at the ski conditions from a few of our local hills!
Blue Mountain opened up their Silver Bullet chair bright and early today (at 6am) just for Family Day! They have 41 out of 42 trails open, and the conditions are machine groomed frozen granular. They’re open until 9pm, giving you plenty of time to get on the slopes!
All of Horseshoe’s 28 trails are open today until 4pm! Their conditions report says they have machine groomed granular and wet snow as the temperatures change. They say they have plenty of snow with spring skiing and a great base.
All of Snow Valley’s 21 runs are open! They’re also reporting machine groomed granular conditions and are open until 9pm for skiing, snowboarding and tubing!
