Mariah Carey’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame has been defaced. Over the weekend a giant question mark appeared beside the singer’s name (see below). A rep from the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce told TMZ that they were the ones to call the police and the Los Angeles Police Department now have a lead as someone on Instagram claimed to be responsible.
After all the drama that occurred between Bella Thorne, Charlie Puth and ex-boyfriend Tyler Posey, Thorne tells People in an interview that she received death threats from their fans. If you remember, the breakup with Posey was tough for Thorne, but she says what was tougher was the response from fans to rumours she had hooked up with Puth during her relationship with Posey. She was spotted hanging out with Puth in December and that caused the fans to be cruel. “You know, fans, if you’re just seen with somebody, they think… immediately you gotta be in a relationship with them, which is not true,” she tells People. Thorne reveals she and Puth were actually just hanging out and are just friends. She says the root of the problem is social media, where fans “get all these people to hate on you and call you whatever names in the book. It’s kind of like one person says it and then everybody jumps on it.”
