I’m normally a pretty confident driver but there was one day last week that I was covering the morning shift, so I had to drive one hour across back highways to get to Collingwood by 5am. I got 15 mintues into the drive and turned back. Why? It was dark, snowing, wind blowing, snow drifts, and pretty much everything else that winter driving nightmares are made of.
When I came across this list of winter driving tips...I wanted to share!
The list includes: Making sure your vehicle is prepared for winter driving with winter tires and a snowbrush, and of course making sure that windows and mirrors are cleared off so that you can see clearly. The 2nd tip is drive slowly and smoothly, don’t tailgate, pay attention and more.
