Now that Halloween is approaching, everyone is thinking about the costumes they plan to wear. Well, the student union at Brock University has stirred up some controversy surrounding Halloween costumes. They’ve started a bit of an argument when it comes to what Halloween costumes are considered offensive, since they released a list of costumes that won’t be allowed at their annual party. The banned costume list includes any that feature a culture’s traditional attire, costumes that mock suicide or rape, and those depicting transgender activist Caitlyn Jenner. But despite what appears to be good intentions, some are complaining that this can be considered a form of censorship.
