The newest celebrity “taking a break” from showbiz is Demi Lovato, after backlash about comments she made about Taylor Swift and her squad. In an interview with Glamour Magazine, Lovato said: “To be honest, and this will probably get me in trouble, I don’t see anybody in any sort of squad that has a normal body… It’s kind of this false image of what people should look like.” She added, “And what they should be like, and it’s not real…. It’s not realistic.”
After Swift’s fans were upset, Lovato said she doesn’t take back the comments. But she did post this tweet:
So excited for 2017. Taking a break from music and the spotlight.. I am not meant for this business and the media 👋🏼— Demi Lovato (@ddlovato) October 4, 2016

During a climate change panel at the White House on Monday, Leonardo DiCaprio made a joking remark that was reported as fact, with some news outlets claiming the Oscar-winner was planning to embark on a trip to Mars. He has come forward to clarify the joke.
