Two seemingly unrelated groping cases have surfaced in Barrie. The first incident happened on Tuesday afternoon, as a woman was walking past the suspect on the sidewalk when she was groped. This was in the area of Toronto Street and Sophia Street, and the suspect is described as a white 25-year-old man, with a thin build and receding black hair.
The second incident occurred around 10pm on the same day, when another woman was walking and was also groped. This happened in the area of Browning Trail and Fox Run. The suspect is described as a white man with a thin build, full beard, and short brown hair.
Both women are fine and police are treating these as separate cases despite similarities. Anyone with information is asked to call the OPP or Crime Stoppers.
