Great news for the NLPS!
The Nottawasaga Lighthouse Preservation Society (NLPS) has received permission from the Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) to shrink wrap the 85’ Nottawasaga Lighthouse. The NLPS plans to have this work completed this fall in order to protect the lighthouse from the winter weather.
Chairman, Rick Crouch stated: “we are thrilled to receive this news from the DFO. We recently took some building restoration contractors to Nottawasaga Island in order for them to investigate the scope of the work and to be able to quote on this project.”
