UPDATE 09/22/16: Unfortunately good news hasn’t come yet for Samsung owners, as the company has been ordered to run more safety checks on its Galaxy Note 7 smartphones before they go back on sale. A recall plan has been made to check every battery before the phones are released.
Samsung has announced the recall of the Galaxy Note 7 smartphone, just weeks after its launch. Due to fears of an exploding battery, sales have been stopped globally and Samsung will issue replacements to anyone affected.
The recall was prepared after some scattered reports that the phone can explode while charging. Samsung reports that 35 Galaxy Note 7 smartphones have been found with the issue out of the millions sold.
