So you quit smoking and feel like you’ve added years to your life…you probably have – BUT (there’s always a but) being out of shape is the second highest cause of an early death.
A new study, spanning 45 years, was published yesterday.
It was clear in its findings “low physical capacity is a greater risk for death than high blood pressure or high cholesterol” and the only thing worse for longevity was smoking.
You know that stationary bike/treadmill/rowing maching sitting in your basement? Go dust it off!
Prolonged sitting an issue – so…I’m just going to run around the office now…I should be gone about… 45 seconds before I lose wind. Sigh.
