As far as large scale music festivals go it was thrown together fairly last minute. That lack of lead time didn’t seem to affect the quality of the event that paid tribute to the history of rock’n’roll and disco. It was a line up of some of Canada’s very best tribute acts. Backed by an awesome versatile band and top notched production, tributes to Roy Orbison, Ray Charles, Elton John, Cher, The Bee Gees and ABBA delivered a high energy tour de force of non-stop entertainment.
I was so excited Mcing the show I even tried to work my way into the band Night Fever, Canada’s premier tribute to the Bee Gees. They didn’t buy it when I tried to convince them the were short a Gibb Brother. Apparently, they are well aware that it wasn’t Robin, Barry, Maurice and Chubby!
I can’t wait until July 8th 2017 for Edenstock 2!
