This is interesting; The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. is looking to increase so-called Millennial’s interest in playing the lottery.
It seems younger people, Millennials (defined as the generation born between 1982 and sometime in the early 2000’s. However, these boundaries aren’t set in stone.) buy lottery tickets much less than their elders.
About 7% of younger people play at least once a week compared with 45% of older people.
Seems like a simple fix to me…simply run a contest where they take a selfie with their ticket. Voila!
