Every so often, a fashion trend comes along that really gets people talking. Crocs definitely are one of those trends.
Some people hate ‘em, some people love ‘em.
Now comes the news from a woman named Megan Leahy. She’s a podiatrist with the Illinois Bone and Joint Institute.
She told Huffington Post that since Crocs don’t properly secure the heel, that can lead to tendinitis, toe deformities, nail problems, corns and calluses.
She did add that that same thing can happen with flip flops or any backless shoes as the heel is not secured.
Bottom line? It’s ok to wear Crocs for a short time but not for long walks.
